I grew up traveling the world with my diplomat parents, and have lived in Germany, Bolivia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Japan, Korea (and have visited plenty of others), and currently split my time between the United States and Mexico.

After several academic endeavors (including computer programming and fine art photography!) and various career choices, I finally settled into the law and practiced as an attorney for over twenty years – although writing has always been my first love.
